Inspire is the perfect place for your child to dance! In this stage of your child's journey, we offer lessons for children 10 years old (grade 5) and up and the ability to attempt dance exams.
Our classes are taught by quality Inspire curriculum trained teachers who have a sincere love of teaching and who are overjoyed to share their passion of dance with your child.

Observation Classes:
You’ll never miss a step! Parents are invited to two observation weeks a year to observe your child's progress.

What happens in an Inspire class?
All of our classes follow a similar format and are packed full of variety, energy and fun.

Maroon Ballet- For dancers age 12+ or who have completed Ballet 4
These ballet classes are great for teaching and training ballet technique for fun or for professional futures. This level is full of fun exercises, themes and imaginative work that will teach and train ballet technique while being a load of fun!
- This level will be offered in-school exams which are not mandatory.
- This class would also benefit from a stretch class to increase flexibility and strength.
- This class will participate with a dance on-stage in the year end recital.
Maroon Jazz- For dancers age 12+ or who have completed Jazz 4
In this structured class the dancers will learn to work with music, foundational technique and body awareness all while having fun and making new friends! The syllabus is a blend of ISTD modern exercises and ADAPT jazz to maximize learning of style, lines, and flexibility. Exams are offered at this level and they will participate with a dance in the year end recital.
- This class would also benefit from taking additional classes like leaps and turns, ballet or a stretch class to further strength and flexibility.
Unset- For dancers ages 12+
This class is designed to improve leaps and true both in and out of the curriculum. This class will expose dancers to fun and exciting jumps and turns while helping them progress at a faster rate.
- All students in level 1+ can take this class.
Maroon Tap- For dancers age 12+ or who have taken Tap 3
Tap will engage your child mentally and physically with style, challenging rhythms, different types of music and fun! Get your feet moving and the brain working while counting. This level uses ISTD (Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance) work to get the best out of your dancer by maximizing their style and finding their groove.
- Exams are offered at this level
- This class will participate with a dance on-stage in the year end recital
Maroon Acro- For dancers age 12+ or who have completed Acro 3 or a comparable level.
Acro (acrobatics) is a combination of gymnastic type movements with music and dance vocabulary. At this level, progression is based on flexibility and strength as well as the ability to safely and properly complete tricks. No matter your age, you will be placed at the teachers recommendation. All new dancers Ages 9+ should start at Pink Acro and then be assessed by the teacher in class to make sure their placement is correct.
- Exams are offered at this level
- This class will participate with a dance on-stage in the year end recital
- It is strongly recommended that all Acro program participants also take the acro stretch class.
Tumbling-
Dancers working at a higher level will get more opportunity to work on the high intensity skills in this tumbling class. Drills will be taught to train the dancers to create high impact movement with safe foundations. Dancers will be working towards roundoff's, aerials, layouts, handsprings and more.
- No Exams for this class
- This class is a tech class and will NOT participate with a dance on-stage in the year end recital
- It is strongly recommended that all Acro program participants also take the stretch class.
Stretch- For all dancers ages 12+
Acro Stretch is a fun focused technique class to assist dancers in creating a healthy relationship with their bodies while strengthening and improving range of motion. Dancers will focus on improving front and side splits, shoulder and back flexibility and strengthening shoulders, core and legs. Dancers who have taken this class have improved at a faster rate! This class does not do exams or recital.
Maroon Hip hop- For all dancers age 12+
Is your child looking for upbeat, current and fun dance style?! Students will learn foundations in this urban styles such at popping, locking and street. They will also learn popular industry styles and trends. PREREQUISITE – MUST BE IN 1 OTHER TECHNICAL CLASSES
